As I recall, the summer of '08 was a bit crazy for me. I was working full-time, and somehow between that and everything else I didn't have the time or motivation to update my comic on any regular basis. This strip, published in late August, was the first update since mid-July, and would be the last until October! To make matters worse, I was right in the middle of a story arc. So even though Janet's trip to the art gallery only lasted a day to her, for us it was well over two months.

My current day has lasted 8 weeks so far. And I've heard of days that last years in some webcomics.
