When you look at Janet, you can just tell she's the kind of person who, despite probably being a genius in every other way, has never heard of a comb. Also, even though most panel backgrounds are a single colour, scenes that focus on Tabitha occasionally have this hazy rainbow pattern, which suits her pretty well.
