This is a unique moment in the story, because it contains no humour whatsoever. You just feel bad; it's the only story arc with a sad ending, not a funny one. It's also kind of strange to think that we never really see Kai again after this, even though I consider him one of the four main characters. I guess it's because his role in the story is so dramatic.

Oh no! Poor Janet. Man, Kai seems more upset than ever! You think he'd be less pissed... he's never seemed like he could be this angry- and I can't believe that Janet has changed SO INCREDIBLY MUCH! This must be like a dream sequence or something.
