At this point I used Janet's change back to her usual wardrobe to tweak her design just a teeny bit. She now has a white shirt collar poking out through her sweater, suggesting that she's wearing a dress shirt underneath. That change stuck right up until the end; the zig-zag skirt hem, on the other hand, was dropped pretty fast... it just didn't seem plain and boring enough for something Janet would wear.

I think the idea behind that slogan was just to imply that Janet is a scientific rather than creative-minded person, basically hinting at the plot of the comic without giving it away. I don't think I was trying to get philosophical, but since that's how you see it, sure, why not? :)
