Well it took some heavy lifting, but I've finally moved this comic to its own domain name site. It may not look like much has changed, because most of what I worked on all week is what you don't see, like writing scripts, adding stylesheets and cleaning up messy HTML. But now that it's done, I'm hoping any future redesigns will be much, much easier.

Hopefully you've already notice improved page loading time from this comic. I don't know if it was just me, but recently I was finding my old hosting service unbearably laggy. If anyone has been reading this comic on an old computer or with dialup Internet, you're the real fans, because that must have taken amazing patience! So I hope now everything loads up faster for everyone.

Apart from that, the main visible difference on the new site is the comment system for comics. The old site's comments were a feature of my old online comic hosting service, and I didn't have much control over the system they used. Now that I'm on my own site using my own database, I've written a new system for comments which I believe is more straightforward and will hopefully encourage more readers to leave feedback on the fly.

I guess that's all I have to say. Earlier this week I thought all this Web development would make me have to miss today's update, but no worries, there will be a new comic on the site today. I really impressed myself this week.
