Webcomic Beacon Spotlight (and sound clip)
It took a while, but Fesworks and the gang at the Webcomic Beacon podcast got through their list of Webcomic spotlights and talked about The Artiste Manquée for three minutes on the show last Sunday! The Spotlight feature is not an in-depth review, but rather just the hosts and guests on the show giving their quick impressions of a comic. Still, they all seemed to like my work, so I'm happy.
*Click to listen to the sound clip!* - mp3 format, about 3 minutes @ 696kb. If you have Quicktime installed it should play in your browser, if not you'll be prompted to open it with Windows Media Player or whatever, but it should work for everyone.
The most obvious lesson I got here is that nobody knows how to pronounce the title of my comic. I used to have a pronunciation guide on the About page, and now I think I should definitely put it back. I also have a suspicion that part of the guest's commentary was edited out near the end, and I really wish I had listened to the show when it was broadcast live. But I forgot to. Live and learn.
